Aikido
The martial art of aikido was created in the middle of the 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba (1883–1969), known as O-Sensei or Great Teacher.
Aikido means "the way of blending energy". In aikido training, we practice overcoming habitual reactions through repetition of martial forms. Aikido students condition their bodies to become supple, balanced, and powerful.
Aikido is now practiced by tens of thousands of people of all ages around the world. Many aikido students find it so rewarding they continue practicing for years or even decades.
